Almost Back Home

Wow, what a long trip this has been. I am in Needles, California and spending the night at a Days Inn. I can't wait to get home especially as the AC stopped working in the van and it's making a strange noise and sometimes won't get into reverse and really stinks inside. Oh I need to get home. Needles is a few miles into California in the Mohave Desert. Oh and it's freakin hot out here and without AC I am kind of a little nutty in the brain, I think my circuits are starting to fry. I ate dinner at a Denny's across the street as it appeared to be the only thing around. I was finishing up my grilled chicken breast and baked potato when the deep fat fryer stopped working. You should have heard the people complaining when they found out they couldn't order anything deep fried. They might actually have to order something that won't kill them! Oh they were freaking out.

Here are some pictures that our awesome Little Rock Velo Bella Addie and her fiance Dan took while we were out at Joe Martin. I should mention that Addie and Dan really took great care of us and it made logistics and everything else difficult about racing so much easier.

Oh and check out my awesome number placement on my shoulder for my time trial. No wonder they couldn't figure out who I was. Sometimes I am so clueless.
