The latest haps
Well it's nearly December and what the hell have I been doing with myself since the racing season has ended. Well, apparently not a lot. It looks like our home in Felton has finally sold and hopefully our close date will be in January sometime and Brent, Emma, Leeloo and maybe Sparky and I will be heading up to Bend in the dead of winter. Perfect timing.
We decided to part with the big VW Eurovan and look for an all wheel drive vehicle which should be better suited for snow and ice. Today we test drove a couple of SUV's but I don't think they really suit us very much. They seem more like a lifted car with a large open trunk. Really I guess that is all they are. I am sure we will find the right match soon. Our VW van is having some transmission "issues" and I would rather part amicably with it than put serious money into it.
I am riding my bike about 3-4 days a week and not really putting a lot of vigor into it. I feel like I might need a little bit longer in the easy riding stage to make sure I am fully healed before getting back on the training program.
So this blog is dedicated to my many hours driving the van across the country in both directions. May she find a good home and continue her adventurous ways.
Oh and I have to include this pic of Emma trying to cope with a rainy day outside.

but sorry to see you go!
No you can't go yet, I was secretly hoping the down market would mean you were going to ride me into fitness the next three weeks?
Its all about me you know...
Lets go for an epic ride for memories sake.
Yeah, Yay, Ya!
You know everyone in Bend drives a Subaru. Yea, diversity in Bend is considered the color of Subaru you drive. Hm. Get a van. A 4x4 Van... American. I thought it was a stupid idea and didn't know why everyone drove them here (In the Hood). But now I do... so you can fit all your recreational toys inside, on the roof (must have Yak Box on top)...on the back and still room for your buddies (animals and children)...
Yeah, Yah. Urchapped man... heading my way... just in time for skate ski season... Did you ask Santa for some skate skis??
X,
BB
